WRITERS GOING w/OTHER WRITERS TO MOVIES ABOUT WRITERSSometimes we get together as writers to go see movies about writers and writing. (We're crazy that way.) There are some great films about writers and their most famous stories coming out this holiday season. Join us for a matinee (to keep it as cheap--but still lively--as possible). Celebrate (while learning a bit ;) about how in the world they put that story together--and enjoy the movie magic with other good writers. We'll catch the film (at Queen's or Maui Mall), and anyone who wants to can join us to sit and chatter after the film. Family and friends warmly welcomed.
We also try to make a special effort to see stories about our Pacific islands or films by Hawai'i filmmakers--to show our support. And show up for our ohana.
NEXT WRITERS w/OTHER WRITERS @ MOVIES?
Look for COLETTE outing, if/when the film comes to the island.
Any one, all ages, welcome.
